Seven consultancy services
Import-process and ASYCUDA support, compliance, bonded warehouses, restitution requests, objections and appeals, Article 128 exemptions and support for new trading businesses.
Case study · Aruba
An independent customs consultant needed his first website. I designed and built a place to explain his services, publish guidance and receive enquiries.

Attentive had no website before this project. The owner needed to present his expertise in ASYCUDA filings, bonded warehouses, restitution requests and Article 128 exemptions.
The site needed to explain the consultancy's work and give importers a clear way to ask for help.
A list of services was only part of the brief. The site also needed practical information for people dealing with customs procedures.
I organised the content into services, an import-process guide, topic pages, a glossary and an FAQ. Visitors can read the information relevant to their question and contact the consultant.
Import-process and ASYCUDA support, compliance, bonded warehouses, restitution requests, objections and appeals, Article 128 exemptions and support for new trading businesses.
Sixteen-plus questions across six categories, covering the consultancy, compliance, documentation, bonded warehouses, restitution and starting a business.
A glossary of more than twenty shipping and customs terms, including ETD, FOB, HS-code and VGM.
The owner can edit services, FAQs and guides through a CMS. Written documentation explains how to update the content.
An enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone and office address. The consultancy states a reply time of one business day.
We agreed what the site needed to explain and how visitors would contact the consultancy before designing the pages.
The page structure followed that plan: services, the import process, guides, a glossary and an FAQ.
The owner reviewed the site in two refinement sessions. We used his feedback to adjust the content and presentation.
I handed over the CMS with written documentation so the owner could publish updates himself.
The site is in Dutch, matching the consultancy's intended audience and the material it publishes.
I included on-page search setup and checked loading performance as part of the build.
The CMS documentation covers the content the owner can change, with a walkthrough at handover.
Guides and explanations have their own pages, so they can be found individually and sent to a client as a direct link.
The site went live in 2025. Visitors can browse the consultancy's services, read guidance and contact the owner.
The owner maintains the content through the CMS, including new services, revised guidance and FAQ answers.
This was my first paid freelance client project. It gave the consultancy a website it owns and can keep current.
Giancarlo was really easy to work with. We sat down together at the start and worked out what I needed from the website. He knows his stuff, but he explained things in a way I could understand and listened when I wanted to change something. He made those changes and took care with the details. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to show me how everything worked and left me clear instructions to refer back to. The handover felt straightforward, and I felt comfortable taking over the site myself.
Tell me what you're working on. I'll tell you how I'd build it, what it would take, and whether I'm the right person for it. No obligation.
